Well I have to say it’s been a crazy year for me with so many new experiences, highlights and low lights ! But overall its been a cracking year for me. From the small amount of affiliate marketing I did in 2006 i’ve increased my sales and leads so much more.

Highlights

  • Realising that spending money on ppc does actually make sense ;)
  • Launching some new and exciting sites
  • The launch of the new Affiliates4u site
  • Gaining A A B in alevels and getting accepted to Manchester Uni
  • Meeting so many new people at Uni and experiencing the great city
  • and of course the launch and success of this blog

Lowlights

  • All the revision and work towards getting into uni
  • Stress of moving hosting
  • Passing away of a relative

 My New Year Resolutions

  1. Get fit ! (Yes lots people have this, but I plan on going jogging twice a week, daily sit ups, and weights
  2. Concentrating on 5 sites in total (thanks for the tip Kieron)
  3. Launching 2 new sites which will total the 5 above
  4. Working harder on Affiliate Marketing and trying new areas
  5. Not to go to the casino :)

Laptop or Pc ?

September 07, 07 by Max

A question that had me stuck for ages and a many a thread was started and read and eventually I made the decision to for a laptop.

I ended up buying the Dell Inspiron 6400 with an intel pentium dual core processer, 2gb Ram and a 120gb Hard Drive…now i would go into my detail about the spec but apart from the 3 parts above it means nothing to me. I bought it through Dell Business which made it cheaper :)

So from my numerous threads on various forums I found that the pros and cons of a laptop over a pc or vice versa really varies depending on situations, Me as a student I need something I can take back to sheffield if I decide to go at the weekend so I can do some work on the train or at home. Others may be happy with a desktop.
